The Association «Industry for Ecology (RusPEC)» was founded in 2005 by the largest manufacturers of packaging and consumer goods with the purpose of transparent legislation formation in the field of packaging waste management for self-realization of extended manufacturer's responsibility (EPR).
The RusPEC members are 14 large international companies which produce consumer goods and packaging and have experience in EPR self-compliance implementation.
Thanks to many years of international EPR self-compliance, RusPEC members make it their mission to build a constructive dialogue and provide expertise to both public authorities and business & community organizations.
The main RusPEC goal is to create legislative environment that helps reduce the flow of packaging waste to landfills and increase the share of its recycling and secondary use.
